In a few hours we are off to Lyon for the “fête des lumières”. The brothers “Lumière”, who were brought up in Lyon, were among the first filmmakers. (Lumière is the french word for light). Every year this festival is a wonderful happening, the whole city is lit with artistic lightshows. We planned for two years to go there, I can’t wait ! Lyon is a great city, full of special restaurants, the famous “bouchon” (small bistrot.) I’m sure we’ll have a great time. See you on monday !
