Rugby worldcup final with Flying Springboks
octobre 15, 2007 par Sien
Ok, ok, just another post on rugby, after the terrible loss on saturday, we enjoyed watching the South African “Springboks” beat the Argentinian “Pumas” last night. Great game that was !
They deserve this name, Springboks, their number 11, Bryan Habana, could jump something like 5 meters finishing off with a try, really incredible ! Habana equalled Jonah Lomu’s World Cup tryscoring record to help South Africa join England in next Saturday’s final with a ruthless 37-13 win over Argentina.

So the finals on saturday will be South Africa -England (The Springboks have beaten England 36-0 in the first round of this worldcup, expect this to be a “hot” game) while France will try to save their 3rd place against Argentina on friday (France also lost their first game against them, so this will be a revenge…) Two more games to go, then we’ll have to wait for another 4 years, lucky the 6 Nations Tournament will be on this winter which France has won many times.
I have chosen to be a Springboks supporter, a little because of the history of this wonderful country (I could write a post about it maybe), and being dutch, so let’s say in Afrikaans : VOORSPOED !!! Goodluck Springboks!!!
